Candle Care & Safety
Safety first: only burn your candle on a level, fire resistant surface.
Please allow the candle to melt across the entire surface as this prevents tunneling. The process of the wax melting to the sides of the jar may take up to 2 hours. Burn your candle for a minimum time of 3 hours and maximum time of 4 hours.
Always burn your candle within sight.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Trimming your candle wick before each burn is the best way to ensure a clean burn. .
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris.
Please do not blow out your candle, always extinguish your candle with a snuffer or dip the candle cotton wick into the melted wax and then straighten the cotton wick to prevent it from smoking and doing this helps you to avoid the wax splattering.
Keep your candle from droughts as this decreases burn time, causes smoke and uneven burning.
Do not burn the candle all the way down to avoid overheating the glass jar.
Do not use if the candle jar is chipped or cracked. Always examine your candle jar before burning.
Avoid storing your candle where they are in direct with sunlight or lights.
Be sure to read the safety candle label underneath the candle jar or on the box. Also refer to our candle care tip leaflet that come with every candle for more information on how to use and look after your candle for a better experience with our Bethel Candles.
